Mr Green Review 2019 - Our Test and Experiences
100 % odds bonus on the first bet
Mr Green is a freshman in sports betting - we also noticed that in our extensive Mr. Green test report. In this review we want to show, in which categories the bookmaker scores particularly well and where there is room for improvement. Since 2008 the company is rather known for online casino games, like roulette, slot games or black jack and they earned a very good reputation in this field. Now they want to follow with sports bets. We want to present our Mr Green experiences that we collected in the course of our bookmaker evaluation in this review. 2008 the online casino went into operation. Mr Green is running under a Maltese license. The mother company is based in Sweden and it's listed on the stock exchange in Stockholm. Apart from the before mentioned baccarat and E-sports are also part of the company's portfolio. Since November 2017 Mr Green is a sponsor of the Scottish top club Celtic. The English club Wigan Athletic is also sponsored by the man in green. Additionally they sponsored the players’ championship final of the darts league PDC last year. 2017 Mr Green had a sales volume of € 121 million and had more than 230 employees in 12 countries. Due to the Maltese license they are bound to hold the high standards of EU guidelines.

BETTING PRODUCTS - Mr Green review reveals big portfolio
At first glance, the full spectrum of Mr Green betting products was not immediately apparent – only then did we notice the exceptional breadth. Tipsters can actually bet on more than 30 different sports: everything from American football, baseball, cricket and sumo to water polo and winter sports. Naturally, the Mr Green program also includes classics like football, handball and tennis. Let us concentrate on those classics: In football, all of the bigger and smaller leagues on all continents are represented. In England, you can even bet all the way down to the fifth level of competition. Likewise, Sweden, Norway and Finland – out of deference to the company’s Nordic homeland – are also well represented in the form of the top two divisions. In Germany (first and second divisions of the Bundesliga), Austria (Bundesliga only) and Switzerland (Super League), the offer has potential for improvement. That said, the depth leaves nothing to be desired: Though the website structure makes it harder for tipsters to recognize all the relevant betting markets immediately, over 100 different betting options are available for any given Bundesliga match. This bookmaker gets 17 out if 20 points.
BETTING ODDS – Our Mr Green experiences indicate attractive opportunities
The payout rate for popular betting opportunities such as the Bundesliga and ATP matches lies between 94 and 96%, representing very good value. In less prominent leagues such as the Argentinian football championships, that rate might drop to as low as 90%. In that case, the betting provider is at a considerable advantage over the tipster. The high fluctuations in odds might well be explained by the fact that this bookie is still relatively new on the market. Experienced tipsters assume that Mr Green will eventually deliver payout rates of 93% or perhaps even 94%. This clearly depends on how well this bookmaker’s offer is accepted. That said, the initial odds from Mr Green appear to be quite attractive. For this reason, we award a solid 17 out of 20 points.
LIVE BETS – Our Mr Green review indicates room for improvement
Mr Green is rather scant when it comes to providing information about upcoming games. A live calendar is missing, as is an extensive statistics page similar to what we have seen elsewhere. Furthermore, there is no streaming feature. In contrast, live bets are given prominent placement and are clearly presented. However, the motto “quality before quantity” also applies here. Not all live bets are immediately apparent, definitely an irritation both for newcomers and pros alike. Good filtering options and an overview of coming events are absent. Our live-betting experiences with Mr Green also show that only a few statistics are provided. Beginners, in particular, rely on such statistics. We feel that Mr Green can improve in the area of live betting in terms of selection, the offer and presentation. Hence the bookie does not perform quite as well in this area. 7/10 points
BETTING BONUS – unique offer from Mr Green
MrGreen challenges ist competitors with an interesting bonus offer, which contains a £ 10 free Accumulator bet. All you have to do is to complete a first-time registration on the bookmakers website, deposit £ 10+ and place a first qualifying bet in the sportsbook with a wager of £ 10+ (minimum odds 4.00). After the first qualifying bet has been settled, the £ 10 free bet will be granted to your account and has to be used on a single bet within 7 days. Winnings made from the free bet can be cashed out in real money, but not the free bet itself. First of all, the MrGreen bonus is able to score in our review with a high free accumulator bet amount of £ 10. However, considering the short time validity of the free bet (7 days) and the high minimum odds that have to be met for the first qualifying bet, we have to make some major cuts in our rating. In summary, the MrGreen bonus takes a placement in the midfield of our ranking. All terms & conditions of MrGreen apply. This bonus offer achieves 7/10 points.

USER-FRIENDLINESS – Mr Green review indicates some getting used to
The fact that this bookie has its roots in the online casino business became immediately apparent within the scope of our Mr Green review. Sports betting is placed below other menu items including slots, roulette, blackjack, live casino, Baccarat and E-sports. When you click on “sports bets”, you are immediately given an opportunity to register and simultaneously receive a casino voucher. Below this, the company provides short intros to sports betting, probabilities, odds as well as explanations of multiple- as well as handicap bets. Only below this do you first find actual odds for upcoming games. From our perspective this doesn’t always facilitate navigation, hence we deduct a few points. In our Mr Green review, we found the loading times were also not ideal. The only positive aspect was the uncluttered design of the betting page – it wasn’t overloaded and you weren’t “beaten around the ears” with big banner ads. However, we were compelled to deduct a few points for user-friendliness. Based on our experience with Mr Green, we felt that this betting provider’s design adhered too closely to the layout of an online casino. Though we do see it as a positive sign that Mr Green intends to go its own way and not merely copy the competition. However, and especially for beginners, the path to actually placing a bet is sometimes a little long, too many clicks simply make the process too cumbersome. So the result is: 7 out of 10.
PAYMENT OPTIONS – Our Mr Green experiences indicate many options
The payment options at Mr Green aren’t always immediately apparent. Your choices include credit card (VISA and MasterCard), direct debit, Neteller and Skrill – our review does suggest, however, that PayPal is not an option. Paysafe card payments are subject to a 3.9% fee. As for payouts, the fees you can expect are clearly defined: Mr Green grants each player one payout per week without fees. If you wish to receive a payout more frequently, you will be looking at a fee of €1 for amounts under €100. Payouts of more than €100 will be charged a fee equivalent to 1% of the total amount. As you can imagine, for a company that focuses on its casino business, security is a major priority, definitely reflected in our own Mr Green experiences. In fact, Mr Green has received numerous awards in recent years for its efforts with respect to enhanced security features. 9/10 points.
CUSTOMER SERVICE – Mr Green is a courteous gentleman
Mr Green’s customer service is available by phone from Monday through Sunday between 11 AM and 8 PM. Questions can also be answered by email or live chat around the clock. A contact form is likewise provided for questions. Users will encounter a special gimmick when it comes to customer service: In its advertising Mr Green employs a friendly gentleman as its corporate mascot, who also accompanies the user every step of the way. This green gentleman proves to be appropriately helpful – especially when any questions crop up. The FAQs leave practically no questions unanswered. Otherwise, Mr Green can be contacted in writing or by phone. The service hotline is free of charge. Within the framework of our Mr Green sports betting review, we made use of the live chat function. Each time, a live employee was available to us within just a few seconds. We received friendly and competent answers to all our questions. Because of that, and because the gentleman was so obliging, in this category Mr Green receives from us the maximum number of points: 10/10.
PROFESSIONALISM – A renowned online casino takes the same path with sports betting
In recent years Mr Green has earned itself an outstanding reputation as an online casino, which they now look to carry over to their sports betting division. The company holds an EU license. They have also received numerous awards, such as Online Gaming Operator of the Year 2017 as well as being multiple recipients of the title “Online Casino of the Year”. Mr Green holds gambling concessions in Malta, Great Britain and Italy, a casino license in Denmark and a sports betting license in Ireland. Company shares are quoted on the Stockholm stock exchange. Mr Green is currently active in 12 different countries with the potential for expansion. In their own words, the corporate concept is to offer entertainment and a high-class gambling experience in a responsible setting. Principles which the company certainly adheres to. For example, in order to receive a payout the company first demands several documents including a copy of a personal ID as well as a current personal bill. In order for funds to be transferred to a bank account, they also require proof that the user is indeed the actual account holder. 10/10 points.
IN SUMMARY – Mr Green review shows some great features and room for improvement
Mr Green is still a young player on the sports betting market, a fact which is readily apparent in various aspects of the website. The company attempts to go its own way – though this does not always appear to be fully successful. In some instances, too much patience is required of tipsters and too frequently Mr Green relies on its (successful) casino concept. In some areas, the company is clearly striving to improve, for example with regards to statistics, live bets etc. With respect to live betting, we noted that the design was uncluttered – definitely a positive aspect of our test. Beginners are provided with numerous explanations about sports betting in general, about odds and probabilities as well as the different betting options (handicap, spread and live bets). Further positives include the broad spectrum of available sports bets as well as the depth within individual sports. It will definitely be interesting to see how well the Mr Green offer catches on and how this bookmaker rises to the challenge. Security is a major emphasis of Mr Green – clear indication of their professionalism. The uncluttered impression is certainly in keeping with their overall presence.
