Which are the best teams in Premier League?

This is a league, that hasn't been playing an important role in international football for too long. It was only founded in 1992 under the name Oberste Division. Back in 2001 the Premier League was brought to life. The record champion with 9 won titles is Spartak Moscow. Usually also part of the upper third of the ranking are the teams from CSKA Moscow, Zenit St. Petersburg and Lokomotive Moscow. Originally the league is called Rossijskaja Futbolnaja Prmjer-liga and it's of great interest for many European football fans.

What can you expect from Russian Premier League?

The Russian fans love their league. When the matches kick off in the stadiums on game days all Russians go crazy. The stadiums of the highest Russian league are always packed. Zenit St. Petersburg has the highest attendance. 45.000 people come to their home games. This is a very respectable number. A club from the capital is on second place, namely Spartak Moscow. On average 31.000 people watch them play in their home stadium. Third place is a little surprise. Akhmat Grozny has an attendance of about 20.000 fans per game. These numbers prove how enthusiastic the Russians are about football and their league. Premier League also scored well in international comparison. The league is full of great talents that came from their own academies. These talents often have to give up starting eleven spots for international top stars that are being lured to Premjer Liga due to the league's high financial potential. The betting market is also busy, when matches kick off in Russian arenas. Premier League has a lot of great and exciting duels in store. The league is already part of every betting provider's portfolio that can be found on the internet. Additionally bookies offer their customers a vast number of betting possibilities on the Russian league. But what best to bet on in Premier League? The betting opportunities are huge and many offered bets aren't clear to new bettors. Therefore we created a list, where you can find a couple of standard bets that are very well-suited for the Russian league.

Which are the top clubs in Premier League?

The incline between top clubs and small clubs is very high in the Russian league, but the density of clubs that are able to compete for the title is also a bigger one. First of all the teams from Zenit St. Petersburg, CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow, the champion from 2016/2017, need to be mentioned. Lok Moscow, the third club from the capital, also belongs to the enlarged circle of title aspirants. Most of the time teams like Kuban Krasnodar or Rubin Kazan compete for international starting spots. Occasionally "smaller" clubs are also able to pull off surprises. in 2015/2016 for example FK Rostov became vice champion and therefore were able to participate in the UEFA Champions League qualification. One problem we see in the Russian league is the financial prowess of the clubs. This can primarily be an advantage, but on the other hand such high salaries are the cause of (over)saturation of well-paid foreign players. In our opinion this aspect shows in international comparison.

Is it recommended to bet on the total winner of Premier League?

The absolute top favorite for winning the title is Zenit St. Petersburg. This club simply has the best team with the highest quality individual players. Additionally the club from St. Petersburg has the biggest financial budget. These are just a few reasons why betting on Zenit St. Petersburg becoming Russian champion won't promise really high odds. Bookies probably won't offer odds higher than 2,00 on this long-term bet in the next couple of years. Therefore it's not recommended to bet on this result, unless you are extremely sure and adapt your stakes accordingly. If you put a big sum of money on mentioned bet, it can pay off. If you bet on CSKA Moscow winning it all, the case is a little bit different one. Bookies world-wide offer odds between 6,00 and 7,00 for this bet. If you are a fan of the club from the capital and you believe in their success you will receive between €600 and €700 on this bet when putting in €100. The chances for profit are even bigger, if you put your money on Spartak Moscow. The 2016/2017 champion gets odds of about 13,00. So this is a hot tip for everybody, who likes to bet on sensations. These odds are incredibly high considering that Spartak is the reigning champion.
