Betting tip England Premier League: Stoke City - Tottenham Hotspur

Can Stoke finally win their first game?
Stoke City started into the new Premiere League Season with great ambitions. There are not much of these left after the first three rounds. Currently the “Potters” are ranked last. Saturday’s home game against Tottenham is supposed to make the first season win reality. Kick-off is 4 PM.
Current form Stoke City
The word “form” seems to not exist in the vocabulary of Mark Hughes’ team reight now. Stoke fell short of all expectations so far. They started the season with a lucky 1:1 draw against Middlesbrough and lost the two following games. First they were clearly defeated by Manchester City (1:4) and afterwards by FC Everton (0:1). The game against last year’s Champions League semifinalist especially revealed problems on every position. Stoke hasn’t been able to compensate goalie Jack Butland yet and the highly praised offensive line with Arnautovic, Bojan or Shaquiri has only impressed a few times. At least the game against Everton showed an increase in performance compared to the Manchester game. Apart from Butland Coach Hughes will also miss Ibrahim Affelay and Stephen Ireland against the “Spurs”. Both players will probably not play anymore in 2016. Outside defender old hand Glen Johnson might be starting on Staurday.
Current form Tottenham Hotspur
The Champions League participant had a mediocre start into the season. Mauricio Pochettino’s team is still undefeated, but they were only able to win once in three games. They beat Crystal Palace at home 1:0. It seems like they have problems in away games again this season. That’s not a good omen for Saturday. The two away games so far both ended 1:1. It has to be said though that the opponents weren’t easy, namely Everton and Liverpool. Just like opponent Stoke Tottenham also misses their main goal keeper on Saturday. Hugo Lloris won’t be able to play due to a thigh injury. Old hand Michel Vorm has done a great job so far replacing him though. The first couple of games in 2016/2017 revealed a problem that didn’t seem possible last season. Top striker Harry Kane seems to have brought back his lacking form from the EURO to the Premier League. The national team player is still waiting on his first goal. Substitute Vincent Jansen hasn’t scored either. But one can’t blame the team for not trying everything to score. They shot at the goal 10 times against Liverpool, but only one of them resulted in a goal.
This game is hard to evaluate. Tottenham is lacking a real finisher at the moment, Stoke is struggling on nearly every position. The “Spurs” are the favorite in principle, but the Hughes-Eleven will try to avoid losing at any cost. Our recommendation: Tip X.
