Can the beginner demand Russia?
On the third day of play of the group B Russia meets the EURO beginner Wales. Especially the new one at the EURO has started with a great performance and therefore has a lot of self-esteem for the next upcoming days of plays. Also Russia knew how to surprise at the beginning. Kick-off on the 20th of June is at 9 p.m..
Current performance of Russia
Who would have thought that? In the last minute Russia turned the match against England into a drawn with a score of 1:1. Beside this one goal the team from Leonid Slutsk has been harmless against the “Three Lions”. 60 minutes only England seems to play only when Rooney & Co has been got tired Russia started to play. Coach Slutski counts especially at the defence on experience that shall give the team some stability. Against Wales they probable will have some more space for the offensive play than against England. The match against Slovakia will be also important. If they are able to win this, they nearly have fixed their position at the eighth finals. The won point against England was very surprising because the test matches haven’t been that successful. The match against Serbia ended with a score of 1:1 and against the host France they have lost with a score of 2:4. Due to their experience Russia is a little bit more the favourite in this match. The performance has improved since Leonid Slutski coaches the team.
Current performance of Wales
At the welsh team all depends on Superstar Gareth Bale, as also seen at the first match against Slovakia. There he scored the first goal after 10 minutes and therefore Wales led the match at the beginning. In addition this has been the first goal for Wales at the EURO ever. If Bale can keep his performance they have realistic chances against Russia without him the team is worse off. Together with Aaron Ramsey they bring individual quality to their team. One advantage is aso that they play without any pressure and free minded because it’s their first participant. If they are able to win at the second match of the grouo against England their ticket for the eighth final will be nearly fixed. However the team also worries about their keeper Wayne Hennessey who has problems with his back. Instead of him Danny Ward played for him. That the Coleman eleven is also vulnerable has shown the match against Sweden when they have lost with a score of 3:0.
Betting tip for this match
After the victory against Slovakia they are on a wave of euphoria. In addition at the offensive play the Coleman team has more quality. However at the defence Russia may be a little bit stronger. We think that Wales will win with their carefree mind. That’s why our tip is: tip 2.
