Betting tip England Premier League: Manchester City - Stoke City

Manchester City is flying high
This Saturday the current number one in Manchester, Manchester City, meets Stoke City. Especially for the hosts it’s a big thing because they want to defend their third positon and may also fight for the runners up title. Kick- off at the Etihad-Stadium from Manchester is on Saturday at 1.45 p.m..
Current Performance of Manchester City
All is going very well at the moment for the “Citizens”. After the well-deserved promotion to the semi-finals at the Champions League they also had to celebrate some victories at the Premier League. On the last weekend they even have beat the current champions FC Chelsea with a score of 3:0. The match on Tuesday against Newcastle United also has been won by Manchester City. The match against Chelsea has been a demonstration of force from Sergio Aguiero. The Argentinian forward player has beaten the “Blues” completely alone with a Hat trick. The current success is also a satisfaction for Manuel Pellegrini who has to leave after this season because of Pep Guardiola. After the victories against London and the relegation candidate, Manchester City has also passed by Arsenal London at the table. Therefore the team is on the third position. Due to the five missing points to the second position they still have realistic chances to also get there. Beside this De Bruyne & Co are without any loss of points since three matches. Before the match against Chelsea they already have won against West Bromwich and Bournemouth. The best thing however is still the promotion to the semi-finals of the Champions League where they will meet Real Madrid. A victory against Stoke would mean a lot because this match is the rehearsal for the one against Madrid.
Current Performance of Stoke City
Stoke City is far away from results like these from Manchester City. In some parts of the season the team of Mark Hughes has real chances to get a Europe League grid. The dream is not over yet but with the 9th position of the table and 6 points missing to the top 6 of the Premier League it’s a lot of work for Stoke City. In Addition they haven’t showed their best performance lately. So they had to suffer a defeat last Monday against Tottenham with a score of 0:4 and on the day before they also lost the match against Liverpool with a score of 1:4. In conclusion this means a score of 1:8 out of the last two matches. At least they were able to win against Watford and the match against Swansea ended with a score of 2:2. Stoke City is missing especially his keeper Jack Butland for whom has ended the season early due to an injury at the match against Germany. One sign that speaks for Stoke City is that the last match against the “Citizens” has been won by Stoke with a score of 2:0 this was at the 15th day of play at the Premiere League. However they are still the outsiders for the match on Saturday.
Betting tip for this match
Only one victory out of the five last matches and two clear suffered defeats lately, it seems as Stoke has to struggle at the moment. Manchester city on the other hand is at the seventh heaven at the moment also because of the promotion to the Champions League Semi-finals. We think that De Bruyne & Co will make this match. Our tip: Tip 1.
