Also the squad had to suffer lately because Dortmund star Marko Reus isn’t able to play due to an injury. Also some top players like Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mario Götze haven’t shown their best performance at their clubs. Nonetheless Germany is one of the top favourites in this tournament. With the great variety of the squad some deficits can be mend easier by trainer Joachim Löw.

There they have beaten Slovenia. At the EURO 2012 where they have been the hosts together with Poland they didn’t even made the group stage. The latest test matches give a lot of hope. In March of this year they have not only beaten Cyprus also Wales with a score of 1:0. But the team is also able to score more than one goal in a match as they have proven lately against Romania. The friendly match ended with a score of 4:3. Even Konoplyanka and Andriy Yarmolenko scored a goal and the biggest hope for the EURO lies on them. At the defence they rely on the 10 million men Yaroslav Rakitsky and with Oleksandr Zynchenko they also have a big talent on the 10th position. It will be exciting how their performance will be against Germany.
