Betting tip UEFA Europa League: FC Villarreal - FC Liverpool
Thursday, 28.04.2016 um 21:05 Uhr
Klopp has the title in sight
At first it seemed as if even Jürgen Klopp couldn’t help Liverpool to find back on track. But since the quarter final against Dortmund the team proved everyone wrong. Now a lot of people even think that they might have a chance to get the title. But at first they have to knock out the strong Villareal. Kick-off in Spain is at 9.05 p.m. on Thursday.
Current Performance of FC Villareal
The team must be very satisfied with their achievements and their performance in this season. They caused attention in nearly every championship. At the Spanish league they are behind the top three (Barcelona, Atlético, Real) on the fourth position. Even when there are 20 points missing to the third position but the fourth position is nearly saved and so the qualification for the champions League as well. They have a lead of four points to Celta Vigo and the fifth position. At the Europe league they struggled at first a little bit but then they improved their performance till the semi-finals. And it’s the first encounter with the FC Liverpool. They have never met each other in an UEFA championship. But the FC Villareal already has been in a Europe League semi-final. In the season of 2010/2011 they unfortunately had suffered a defeat against FC Porto with a total score of 4:7. Currently they do not show a good performance. The team of Marcelino has only scored one point out of three matches at the Spanish league. This scored point was against Real Sociedad (0:0). They suffered a defeat against Real Madrid (0:3) and Rayo Vallecano (1:2). So if they want to win against Liverpool they have to improve their performance.
Current Performance of the FC Liverpool
There are mixed feelings in Liverpool at the moment. On the one hand there was this joyful race to catch up at the Anfield Road against Dortmund (from 1:3 to 4:3 in about 30 minutes) and on the other hand there has been the negative drug test from the defence chef Mamadou Sakho. In addition Divock Origi one of the most accurate players isn’t able to play due to an injury. The forward line is in general not the best because Danny Ings and Christian Benteke are also injured and will not be able to play against Villareal. The full load has to been carried by Daniel Sturridge. And if this wasn’t already enough Jordan Henderson, Emre Can and Joe Gomez are also still missing due to injuries. Their Coach Jürgen Klopp has to do some improvisation. However the “Reds” are unbeaten since seven duty matches. Lately the match against Newcastle ended in a drawn (2:2) and before they have won against Everton (4:0) and Stoke City (4:1). The performance speaks for Liverpool but one bad sign is that the last match against a Spanish team has been lost. In 2010 they failed against Atlètico Madrid. After the strong performance against Dortmund they are definitely good for another surprise.
Betting tip for this match
The stuff choice is critical at the moment with Liverpool. In contrast the performance speaks for the English team. Villareal can trust on the home advantage for this match. It’s hard to make a prediction for this match. But we believe that the “Reds” will leave this match as winners. So that’s why our tip is: tip 2.
