Betting tip England Premier League: FC Liverpool - Leicester City

Tradition meets sensation
When FC Liverpool plays Leicester City at Airfield Road in Premier League this upcoming Saturday, it will be a game between a very traditional club against last season’s sensation champion. Both teams started into the season okay. Kick-off is September 10 at 6.30 PM.
Current form FC Liverpool
Before the season expectations of FC Liverpool’s management and fans were high. Coach Jürgen Klopp was able to shape the team from the Beatles city according to his ideas for the first time. Additionally Klopp was spending his first whole preparation period with the team. In preparation they were able to beat FC Barcelona for example. The season opener against Arsenal was won in a spectacular manner 4:3, but then there followed a not expected 0:2 loss against promoted team Burnley. The third round game against last year’s third ranked team Tottenham ended in a 1:1 draw. That’s a respectable result considering that the game was played at the “fortress” White Heart Lane. It seems though that the “Reds” still have their problem of lacking consistency. Great games are often followed by weak performances against so-called “small” teams. Liverpool’s defense also is not invulnerable. So it’s not really helpful that a wing is working on the defensive outside, namely James Milner. One will see, whether the “Reds” will be able to make up for loss against Burnley.
Current form Leicester City
Not many people believed that last year’s champion would play for the first couple of places in the ranking again from the beginning this season. The players themselves understated their case before the season opener. The first rounds showed that some players were playing above their conditions last season. Currently the team is ranked 9th with four scored points. A ranking that wouldn’t be satisfying at the end of the season. But Leicester has shown improving form lately. The 1:2 against very strong promoted team Hull was followed by a respectable 0:0 draw against Arsenal London. In the third round Leicester was able to get their desired win against Swansea (2:1). It’s quite possible that Claudio Ranieri’s team is starting a little run now. Additionally the “Foxes” will want to boost their self-confidence for upcoming tasks in the Champions League. After the game in Liverpool Leicester will play their first Champions League match against FC Brügge next week. Coach Ranieri will only miss Yohan Belaouane due to injury against Liverpool. That should not be a big problem though, since Belaouane has been loaned to Florence last spring.
This should be an exciting game overall. There is always home court advantage at Airfield Road. Additionally Liverpool has the chance of surpassing their opponent in the ranking with a win. Leicester on the other hand showed improved performances lately. We still believe in a home win for the Klopp-Eleven. Our recommendation therefore: Tip 1.
