Betting tip UEFA Champions League: Dinamo Zagreb - Juventus Turin

Dynamo Zagreb is the underdog again
The roles are clear cut when Juventus Turin plays against Dynamo Zagreb on the second game day of Champions League group H. Especially because Turin wants to make up for their first game against the group underdog. Kick-off is Tuesday at 8.45 PM at Maksimir-Stadium in Zagreb.
Current form Dynamo Zagreb
Dynamo Zagreb was able to win the Croatian championship 18 times already. The youth program is one of Europe’s best. In 2016/2017 Croatia might see a new champion though. Dynamo is currently only ranked third. The already have a four point deficit to league leader Rijeka. Additionally the Croatian champion is not performing very well right now. Even though they won their general rehearsal for the game against Juve (1:0 against Lokomotiva Zagreb), they have lost the three games before that. One of those games was the 0:3 loss in the Champions League against Olympique Lyons another was the 2:5 against leader Rijeka. Those losses lead to the stepping down of Coach Zlatko Krancar. New coach Zeljko Sopic was able to celebrate a win against NK Lokomotiva in his debut. Nevertheless it is more than questionable, whether Zagreb will be able to win against Turin as well. Zagreb is pretty harmless on offense and so won’t be able to surprise Juve’s steady defense. This might be due to the leaving of offensive players like Marko Rog. Experienced keeper Eduardo went to Chelsea and he was replaced by only 18-year-old Adrian Semper. Generally Zagreb is lacking experience. Against Lokomotiva they had an average age of 23.6 years. This lack of experience might backfire internationally.
Current form Juventus Turin
After a short intermezzo of SSC Napoli at the top of the ranking of Serie A, the defending champion Juventus Turin seems to have restored the order in Italian football. They are currently ranked first one point ahead of the South Italians. What speaks for Turin before the duel against Zagreb is simply the quality of the roster and their international experience. While Juve made it into the final in 2014/2015 their opponent never made it out of the group phase. Also one can’t compare their latest results with those of Dynamo. Juve won their last two games against Palermo (1:0) and Cagliari (4:0) and so made up for the loss to Inter Milano in the fourth round of Serie A (1:2). In the last five competitive games the “Old Lady” only received one goal, which speaks for a steady defense. Additionally Turin will go into the game with some anger in their stomach, because they only drew 0:0 in their first Champions League game against FC Sevilla even though they were the better team. But the Italian champion also has some personnel problems. Mehdi Benatia, Daniele Rugani, Claudio Marchisio and Kwadwo Asamoah might be out. The latter two won’t be able to play on Tuesday for sure. For Marko Pjaca it could be special game. The youngster of Juve transferred from Zagreb to Juventus in the summer.
It is the first game between those two teams. Juventus is the clear favorite despite their injured list. Zagreb didn’t perform well lately. Zagreb can hope for the new coach effect though. We don’t believe this will happen though and so predict a full success for the “Old Lady”. Our recommendation: Tip 2.
